Ozempic is a once-weekly injectable medication containing semaglutide, a drug from a class called GLP-1 receptor agonists. It is mainly prescribed to help manage type 2 diabetes and is sometimes used off-label for weight management under medical supervision.

1.Choose an injection site
•Stomach (abdomen)
•Thigh
•Upper arm
Rotate sites each week.
2.Use once weekly
•Inject on the same day each week.
•Can be taken with or without food.
3.Injection steps
•Check the pen and dose window.
•Attach a new needle.
•Dial the prescribed dose.
•Insert the needle under the skin.
•Press and hold the injection button until the dose counter returns to 0, then hold for about 6 seconds before removing.
4.Dispose of the needle safely after each use.
